Maintaining Traditions

IT HealthTrack and NFS

Dr. Pam Smith, a previous co-owner of National FollowUp Services, Inc. (NFS) is now the President  & CEO of IT HealthTrack, Inc. Along with her husband, Dave Smith, Vice President  & CIO, they have developed a new generation of follow-up services by blending their areas of expertise. Pam is a clinician, educator and researcher. Dave’s specialty is information and communication technology. This change came in response to today’s need for more analytical sophistication and data security in services that deal with patient and healthcare information.

Pam and Dave are building on the 12-year tradition of excellence which began with National FollowUp Services and has moved forward to IT HealthTrack. They offer an alternative to an in-house follow up system with its third party unbiased approach and its excellent staff.

Customer Service

All of our facilities are familiar with Julie Vance who has been with the organization for almost 10 years. Her customer service skills have been appreciated by ITH clients as she assists them with contract issues, data submission and telephone support for a variety of questions. She is known for her friendliness, responsiveness and depth of knowledge. She will now also be responsible for accounts receivable. Julie will be managing our new user-friendly invoicing system. You may now expect the same excellent service in invoicing as you have in other areas of customer service.

Information Technology

Todd Smith is the Systems Administrator. He has been with the company for four years and has become involved with many aspects of data and technology management. Todd has earned two Bachelor degrees from The University at Buffalo; the first being a B.A. and the second a B.S. from the School of Management with a concentration in MIS.

Marketing

Erin Smith has been with NFS for over three years and has worked in a variety of roles from data entry to customer service, while attending college. Erin will now evolve into her new role as Marketing Specialist as she has completed requirements to earn a Bachelors of Science from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Management. Erin will be in the unique position of beginning a new job while having years of experience in company operations.

Clerk/Receptionist

Pat Petko has been an asset to our staff for over two years in the role of data entry clerk and telephone receptionist. Pat will continue with many of the same functions and take on more technologically challenging tasks with our new data management system. Pat interacts with our nurses on a daily basis and assist Lynda with preparing the monthly follow-up assignment.

Family Values – A Family Business

IT HealthTrack is proud to join the circle of family businesses originating in Buffalo and Western New York. Our area has many fine family businesses that have served the needs of our community and provided employment opportunities for our local residents. Many businesses with roots in our area have gone on to gain national recognition. Businesses such as Rich Products, Delaware North, Hunt Real Estate and Wegmans had their humble beginnings here in Western New York.

Family businesses, in general, have achieved many successes. Fortune 500 business that are family run include such familiar names as: Gap, Ford Motor Company, Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods and Hasbro. Among America’s largest family businesses are: Anheuser-Busch, Marriott International, Levi Strauss, Estee Lauder, Hallmark Cards, Motorola and S.C. Johnson & Son, just to mention a few.

While we do not hold rank with this group of entrepreneurs, we use their names as an illustration of the success of family businesses and the concepts of long-term investment and working toward a common goal.

IT HealthTrack is a member of the Amherst, N.Y. Chamber of Commerce and the Buffalo Niagara Partnership.
